Personal journals explore our daily lives through the creative process by the marriage between words and images recording our own journey. Picture making through colored pencil, watercolor, and collage allows everyone the ability to give form to our imagination, while creative writing stimulated by writing prompts gives voice to ideas and memories. Therapeutic through self-discovery. The process of image making through drawing, painting and collage allows everyone the ability to give form to recording our lives, while creative writing gives voice to our inner thoughts. We will cultivate our individual voices through the written word and a personal vision working with art mediums.
Daily practice of keeping a journal doesn’t require remarkable skill in the art of writing or painting but the final work is worth all the effort. Teens are welcome.
