JUNIOR STUDIO CAMPS
Young artists explore art through fun, educational projects, varying daily in drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media. Camps include outside activities, games, independent and group projects, and plenty of take-home art!

SPECIALTY CAMPS
These half-day camps are thematically focused for the young artist with an interest in that topic. Each week, choose a morning specialty camp, or afternoon specialty camp or sign up for both.

A SAMPLE DAY AT MMOA ART CAMP (FULL DAY)
Arrival, welcome, and daily icebreaker.
Introduction to the theme and project of the day. Artists look at and discuss art in the galleries, engage in collaborative art experiments, work in their sketchbooks, and more.
Snack break.
Main art activity. Artists explore materials and processes, build art skills, and problem solve in groups and individually.
Lunch, play, and downtime. Campers may work on projects independently.
Introduction to the afternoon theme and project. Artists look at and discuss art in the galleries, engage in collaborative art experiments, work in their sketchbooks, and more. A selection of materials and projects are rotated throughout the week for artists to explore on their own.
Main afternoon art activity. Artists explore materials and processes, build art skills, and problem solve in groups and individually.
Clean up, snack, sharing, and reflection.
All camps are subject to combining or cancellation due to low enrollment.
A Program Participation Packet (PPP) must be completed for each student by the start of camp season. Please visit the MMoA website at MysticMuseumofArt.org/classpolicies-class-registration/ for the PPP form and important class policies.
