Meet MAC 2.0

Welcome to our newly redesigned website! As you can see, we’ve been pretty busy around here, with a new logo (look at the top left of this page), updated website, and lots of new programs and upcoming events for you to enjoy in the fall!
You may notice that mysticarts.org now has a calendar of events. We think it’s a great way to keep track of all the cool stuff we’ve got going on like exhibition openings (the 56th Regional Juried Show / William Butcher Solo Exhibition), upcoming events  (Songwriting Class Concert at MMoA) and special studio programs (Creativity Series).
By the way, MMoA celebrated one really BIG event two weeks ago; it’s 99th year in Mystic! In case you missed all the fun during MMoA99 you can see pics from the event on our Facebook page. We had so much fun during the Vespa raffle (Ted Mikulski did an fantastic job painting it), “99 Pieces of Art” sale (see a list of the  artists) and of course listening to Michael Chicoria and the Rivergods perform live.  None of it would have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and creativity of the MMoA99 Committee, so special thanks goes out to them:
MMoA99 Committee
MMoA99 Committee, from left: Barbara Lipsche, Andy Hallsey, Andrea Frickman, Gretchen Higgins, Karen Barthelson, Ana Schneider (Co-chair), Kristen Garver, Del-Bourree Bach, and Susan Adam (Co-chair, shown seated on Vespa). Not pictured here: Tricia Cunningham, Jon Kodama, Sarah Stifler Lucas, Courtney Moore, Jennifer Pryor
Committee Co-chair, Sue Adams did a great job decorating the gallery and transforming it into a fun, retro lounge (complete with black fringe and tabletop street decor for the Vespa) and Jon Kodama, as always, delivered on a tasty assortment of food  for our guests. Congratulations to Barbara Wells for winning the Vespa too!  We hope to see it around the gallery every once in a while (and maybe take  it  for a spin around the block).
Next week is the opening reception of two very special exhibits: the 56th Regional Juried Show and William Butcher Solo Exhibition. There are so many great works to see. Set aside some time  to visit our galleries and pick out your fave.
Drop us a line and let us know what you think of the  new website. We’d love to hear your thoughts.
