Join us on April 9^th for a special session of Looking at Art with guest speaker Patrick McCauley, Master Model Maker and Industrial Designer for Centerbrook Architects & Planners. Since 2012, McCauley has led the Centerbrook Chairshop, a program unique to the firm that challenges their architects to create a chair—24 of which are currently on display in Chairs by Design: Making the Cut.

Take an hour to look in-depth at these functional works of art and learn about the hands-on approach the architects took on their journeys from design to construction; and how the end result is not about success or failure, but what can be learned from the attempt.
